Boxes for Charity: ODDA x Pepo Moreno

As a unique one-of-a-kind offering, we are launching a limited edition of ODDA Korea 2 to honor Pride month and to highlight the work of the Spanish artist Pepo Moreno.

The ODDA Korea 2 limited edition, a t-shirt hand-painted by Moreno, three square and three round pin badges, with the text Pepo, Korea, and ODDA on them, are all placed inside the beautiful Goma Eva foam envelope pictured below.

As a latter-year Millennial, Pepo Moreno grew up drawing in his countryside hometown and spent his young adulthood flirting with a singing career while pursuing a BA in Communication and Advertising.

Currently, the Tortosa-native lives in Paris, and his paintings have grown to become both a mock and a celebration of gay stereotypes in Western pop culture. On the aesthetical side, his work explores a myriad of saturated colors using different variations of acrylic painting techniques while, at heart, it embraces some of the contradictions of the modern queer life experience: from the sheer gayness of being out, proud, and simply alive, to the forever young, forever beautiful obsession that often hides the loneliness and isolation of being an outcast.

The aim of this unique limited edition ODDA Korea 2 issue is to underline the significance and universality of queer experiences; to break rules where gender doesn't matter anymore and freedom and self-expression have come to stay. This one-off issue has been created both to celebrate Pride month and the LGBTQIA+ creatives, who are at the forefront of their distinctive industries. Moreover, a portion of the proceeds invested in this one-off issue will go directly to an organization supporting the LGBTQIA+ youth.

This time around, 50% of the proceeds of this issue will go to the It Gets Better Project — a non-profit organization with a mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe.

ODDA has a long history of initiatives, focused on a multitude of charitable projects that are aiming to assist and support underrepresented communities globally. All of these projects are created with the sole purpose of amplifying the voices of those who need representation and agency the most.
