One of the busiest models in the modeling industry in 2024 is Chloe Oh. Despite her hectic and demanding schedule, her energy on set keeps us coming back for more. That’s why many of us are looking forward to 2025 when she’ll be even more active and showcase her presence and personality. We sat down to talk about life away from the catwalk and set, the most memorable scenes she’s encountered on set, her attitude towards modeling and the changes she’s seen in her career, and more.

'Being in the fashion industry, there’s such a wide spectrum of styles, clothes, and accessories that you’re exposed to through all these amazing creative people, so modeling gives you a lot of opportunities to see what works and looks good on you and what doesn’t. But the funny thing is that sometimes what looks great on set isn’t really my style. In the end, I think you find your style through trial and error.'

ODDA 코리아 제9호 1권은 두 가지 커버 표지로 발행될 예정이다. 표지 1/2는 모델 클로이 오 (사진 @codylidtk)가 스텔라 맥카트니, 이자벨 마랑, AKNVAS, 지방시, 주피터 2025 리조트 및 2025 봄 컬렉션 제품을 착용한 사진 이미지이다. 

2024년 모델 업계에서 가장 바쁜 모델로 꼽자면 단연 클로이 오다. 빡빡하고 고단한 일정에도 불구하고 촬영 현장에서 에너지를 나누는 모습은 보는 이로 하여금 계속 찾게 한다. 그래서 더 활발하게 활동하며 존재감과 개성을 드러낼 2025년이 기대되는 이가 많을 듯 하다. 모처럼 패션쇼 무대와 촬영 현장에서 잠시 벗어난 일상적인 모습, 촬영 하며 마주한 가장 인상 깊은 풍경, 모델이라는 직업을 대하는 자세와 모델 일을 하며 생긴 변화 등에 대해 편안하게 이야기를 나누었다. 

“패션 업계에 있다 보니 멋지고 크리에이티브한 분들을 통해 접하는 스타일, 옷, 액세서리의 스펙트럼이 꽤나 넓다. 그래서 모델 일을 하다 보면 어떤 게 내게 잘 맞고 어울리며 반대로 어떤 게 안 맞고 안 어울리는 지를 알 수 있는 기회가 많다. 그런데 재미있는 게 촬영 현장에서 촬영용으로는 딱 좋아 보이는 게 내 스타일이 아닌 경우도 있다. 결국 이런저런 시행착오를 거쳐 내 스타일을 찾아가는 듯 하다.”
